按字母顺序排列的索引，并不是您可以用Writer建立的唯一类型的索引。Writer提供的其他类型的索引包括插图、表格和对象的索引，你甚至可以创建一个用户定义的索引。例如，您可能需要一个只包含在正文中提到的物种的科学名称的索引，以及一个只包含物种的通用名称的独立的索引。An alphabetical index is not the only type of index that you can build with Writer. Other types of indexes supplied with Writer include those for illustrations, tables, and objects, and you can even create a user-defined index. For example, you might want an index containing only the scientific names of species mentioned in the text, and a separate index containing only the common names of species. (1)
要创建其他索引：To create other indexes: (2)
- 光标放置在要创建索引的地方。 Place the cursor where you want the index created. (3)
- 从菜单栏选择插入 > 目录 > 目录。 Select Insert > Indexes and tables > Indexes and tables from the menu bar. (4)
- 在插入目录对话框中，在类型下拉列表中，选择需要的索引类别。 On the Insert Index/Table dialog box, in the Type dropdown list, select the index wanted. (5)
- 修改各个选项卡，这是非常类似于前面几节中讨论的。 Modify the various pages, which are very similar to those discussed in previous sections. (6)
